CUSTOM ENGAGEMENT RING
Ryan approached me about designing a custom engagement ring that would incorporate blue sapphires and have botanical inspired design elements. He sent me some inspiration photos that indicated he gravitated to sculptural styling and bypass designs. I presented him with a few design sketches and he decided on a pretty design that incorporated marquise sapphires and a vine like shank. I sourced a gorgeous 1 carat GIA certified diamond and proceeded to CAD:

The CAD renders are wonderful at conveying how the ring will look when finished. Once approved, we proceeded to manufacturing and setting. The finished engagement ring is truly beautiful and the photo doesn't do it justice:

This custom made engagement ring combines rose gold and white gold with elegant, curving lines that wrap delicately around the diamond. The leaf-like blue sapphires are aligned with the end tip of the rose gold "vine" so that all the components flow together beautifully. Details matter so instead of regular round prongs for the diamond I went with a petal shape that further reinforced the botanical theme. I'm thrilled that the recipient loves her engagement ring as much as I enjoyed designing it. I look forward to working on the wedding bands when the time comes!
